This compares charging all the miles above at public stations with a SplitEV plan; home charging is not included. Public energy uses 3.3 miles per kWh. Public station fees are your fee per stop × stops per week × 52 ÷ 12; leave this at $0 if your stations do not charge one. SplitEV uses the lowest estimated cost among the plans shown, including additional miles at $0.12 each. For this illustration, estimated monthly energy is converted to SplitMiles using a 3.0 miles-per-kWh factor and a 15% charging-loss allowance. We estimate 0 SplitMiles of use.
